What it is
Visitors follow an illuminated trail around the castle grounds after dark, past the water features and the ruins. This year’s trail is themed on Alice in Wonderland: “Follow the White Rabbit and marvel at the Mad Hatter, chat with the Cheshire Cat and be very careful of the terrifying Queen of Hearts!” The organisers put a typical walk at 60 to 75 minutes. Mulled wine, hot chocolate, hot food and doughnuts are sold from the Castle Terrace, and the gift shop is open (Spectacle of Light, Sudeley Castle).
